Portolaaquatics.com Needs Your Help!

Do you like photography? Layout? Digital Marketing? Then Portolaaquatics.com needs you!

I, Jackie Wong (mom to Kai Wong '21 and Makena Wong '24), have been maintaining Portolaaquatics.com since 2017 and it is time for me to move on. This is not a huge time commitment (2 hours/week on average). Site is on the Wix platform and it is super easy to use. You do not need to be a web developer to understand the platform. Some Photoshop experience is a plus! Duties will include:

• Maintenance of parent contact lists: Boys Water Polo, Girls Water Polo, Swim, General Members

• Minor content updates per the direction from the monthly board meetings, coaches

• Account maintenance for Wix, GoDaddy (content management system, hosting, and email)

• Email blasts to members (busier during the swim season, can be up to 10+ emails in a single month)

• Optional attendance at monthly Board meetings

The site is in good design shape and whoever takes over can adjust things as necessary. Training/Knowledge transfer is available. I will be able to stay on through December 31, 2022, and the handoff can be a soft handoff until then.
